Solo Exhibition of Anna Chernenko entitled "Portrait: a Study" at the former Ursuline School of Naxos from 12 to 19 August 2025 The study of portraiture is a fundamental practice in the visual arts, which goes beyond the simple representation of the human form. It is a thorough and systematic exploration of the physiognomic features, proportions, expressions and psychological dimension of the person depicted. This solo exhibition offers a unique perspective on the study of portraiture, through a small collection of works by the artist Anna Chernenko, created using the gelatin printmaking technique.
