The Cultural Association of Kynidaros Naxos "Apikrantos" invites us to a sweet celebration dedicated to the traditional xerotigano of Kynidari weddings. Live music with Stelina Konitopoulou's band, traditional treats and lots of fun!

As part of the "Flame of Tradition" Festival, the "Axopatimata" Naxos Folk Dance Group, in collaboration with the "Anemomyloi" Cultural Association of the Youth of Tripodes, will present a reenactment of the traditional Naxian wedding custom through the streets of Tripodes village. The event will be followed by a traditional island music and dance celebration.

First-hand stories by local elders who experienced the German Occupation as children, followed by a presentation of wartime folk couplets (kotsakia) accompanied by the traditional tsabouna (Aegean bagpipe) and ntoubaki (hand drum). Organized by Women's Association of Komiaki
