The village of Messi on Naxos is a small and picturesque village in the northeastern part of the island, with a centenarian plane tree (“Platanos”) next to a water spring as landmark.

The village of Potamia is a traditional village set in the heart of a wonderfully lush and cool valley, replete with monuments of Naxos’ history and its economic and cultural past since the Middle Ages –water mills, chapels and ruined towers.
Built on a fertile plateau in Naxos’ west, the village of Sagri is one of the island’s most picturesque villages.
The village of Skado is a small, traditional settlementon on Naxos, built in amphitheatric fashion on the slopes of Mt. Koronos.
The history of the village of Tsikalario and the village of Chimarros, the two hamlets that form the settlement of Zoodochos Pigi in the Tragea valley, is closely linked with Apano Kastro –an important fortified position from antiquity to Venetian times, located to the west of the village.
Tripodes, or Vivlos, is one of the largest and most picturesque villages in southwestern Naxos, 9km from Chora and very near the famous beach of Plaka.
