The Cycladic Biennale is conceived as an artistic production and research. This year's edition, titled "What Re-mains", explores the formation of memory and the role of forgetting as its central curatorial theme. More than 40 artists from Greece, abroad, and Naxos will take part in the Biennale, creating new site-responsive works inspired by the island, its historical trajectories, social transformations, and material traces. Alongside the main exhibition, a public programme of workshops, lectures, and artistic events will further expand the dialogue between contemporary art, local communities, and cultural heritage.
